Kid's Craft: Make Paper Houses From Cardboard Boxes

I got quite nostalgic talking about the paper houses I used to make as a kid, so I decided to take a trip down memory lane and craft one. Maybe you'd like to try one too? Here's what you'll need...

A cardboard box

Some scissors
(to snip off one of the box sides)

Some clippings from a furniture magazine

Glue and a brush for pasting.

The rest is down to you.
Be creative, be bold and bring out that interior designer in you.
My son made this little creation and...

...immediately moved dinosaurs in!

He also decided that they needed a yard, to play outside, so he got busy with some paper and markers.

Meanwhile, I crafted my own little house.

And, naturally, my new tenants were also dinosaurs.

This is Steggy's (the Stegosaurus) living room.

His dining room

And bedroom

Once he got new floors put in (just more pieces of cardboard, held in with masking tape) Steggy was able to move "Dippy" (the Diplodocus) in as his new room mate.

Home Sweet Home!

Happy pasting!
